Not for most integrations. Pre-built connectors (Salesforce, Shopify, Slack, etc.) work with one-click setup. Zapier workflows are fully no-code. You only need a developer if you want custom API integrations or complex webhook workflows.

How does SingleView™ work with integrations?

SingleView™ is Kayako's unified customer timeline. When you connect an integration, the data (orders from Shopify, deals from Salesforce, subscriptions from Stripe) automatically appears in the customer's timeline. Agents see everything in one place without switching tools.

What if I need an integration you don't have pre-built?

Three options: (1) Check if it's in Zapier's 5,000+ app library, (2) Use our REST API and webhooks to build custom integrations, or (3) Contact our team—we regularly add new pre-built connectors based on customer requests.

Are there extra costs for integrations?

No. All integrations, API access, and pre-built connectors are included in your Kayako subscription. The only variable cost is the $1 per AI resolution if you use Kayako's AI features. Zapier usage is billed by Zapier based on your plan with them.
