What does priority mean?
The level of importance assigned to cases that determines which can wait and which need to be dealt with immediately.
A manager might decide to mark a case “priority” if the case wasn’t responded to fast enough or violated the SLA, for example. Or if a case is particularly time-sensative, a manager might elevate it as well.
